Location: Nottingham
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client who is a growing private childcare provider dedicated to high-quality care, support, and education for children and young adults.

Job Summary

The Registered Manager will lead and manage the children's residential home, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting the well-being of the children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
  • Lead and participate in inspections, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide strong leadership and foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and supervision.
  • Ensure high standards of care, support, and protection for children.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate care quality.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments.
  • Maintain effective communication with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Build positive relationships with local authorities and social workers.
  • Manage the budget efficiently.
  • Monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in a management role within residential childcare.
  • Proven success in Ofsted inspections and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children.

  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS)
