They are seeking a skilled and dynamic Underwriter to join a specialised team focusing on servicing accounts. You will play a pivotal role in evaluating, analysing, and underwriting a range of different accounts tailored to clients and their unique needs.
You will be expected in the office a minimum of 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and underwrite Mid Corporate & Corporate Risks.
- Handling your own book of set clients. Working on various schemes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to support business growth and retention.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Attending broker meetings with the Lead Underwriter when required.
What's needed for me to be considered?
- Proven experience in underwriting, preferably within Property OR Commercial Combined.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous.
