This company is an established, respected manufacturing business, they are known for producing high-quality products and for their commitment to innovation and excellence. Based just outside of Manchester in the Ashton Under Lyne area the client is looking for a Finance Director to join the business on a fixed term contract for at least 9 months.
This is a hands on role, requiring a strategic thinking, finance orientated senior level executive to support with overall business management as well as leading a finance team. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to maintain and improve the financial health of the business.
Your new role as Finance Director:
Your duties will include:
Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure
Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors
Preparation of all financial reporting
Manage budgeting process
Oversee the preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Develop financial and tax strategies
Manage company's cash flow and forecasting
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with significant post qualification commercial experience
Manufacturing experience
Stature, presence, excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise confidently with all levels of the business, customers and suppliers.
Highest professional standards and integrity, with a requisite to detail, accuracy, and presentation.
In depth knowledge of latest financial standards.
Ability to build, develop and lead a team of Finance professionals to support in all aspects of the business.
This would ideally suit someone who has worked in a board or operational finance role, we want someone who had a desire to impact the business.
Your Reward & The Package On Offer:
As Finance Director, you shall receive
A salary of up to £85,000 per annum depending on experience
