Key responsibilities:
I am seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a growing finance team. The role involves supporting various aspects of our finance function, contributing to the smooth operation of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable by processing invoices, credit notes, payments, and handling company expense claims.
- Support the credit control process, including cash receipt compilation, allocation, and reconciliation.
- Help with financial reporting through ledger maintenance, control account reconciliation, and preparing accounts up to the trial balance level.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to implementing more efficient practices.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support across the finance department, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders by offering relevant information and assistance.
- Take an active role in developing skills and gaining experience in other areas of the finance function.
- Assist colleagues and contribute to the wider success of the company by working towards shared goals.
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies and guidelines.
- Carry out any additional tasks as required by management.
