What is the role about?

This role will focus on supporting Operational teams to deliver high performing programmes by ensuring that all CI processes and activities are completed in line with the relevant Policies and that the output of these activities are used to drive all aspects of performance. This role will be required to visit Operational offices on a regular basis to support delivery teams and gain an umbrella view of the Operational delivery as a whole.

The role will require excellent communication skills as well as requiring the individual to have excellent organisational and analytical skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The individual needs to have the ability to influence colleagues to achieve buy-in of the overall quality improvement framework for the organisation. They will also have to work effectively with other departments to embed the CI framework.

The successful individual will need to be a 'self-starter' and able to work independently. This is not an exhaustive list and the Continuous Improvement Manager will be expected to carry out any other duties as may be specified by the line manager from time to time. This profile is non-contractual.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Maintain Continuous Improvement schedule and ensure all activities take place within the required timeframes.
  • Manage and maintain customer feedback systems; and pull, present and analyse Participant survey responses.
  • Organise and facilitate Focus Groups with Participants and write reports of the findings.
  • Manage the File Check Policy and Procedures for assigned programmes.
  • Produce and present reports detailing observation and file check completion rates.
  • Collate and determine trends for observations and file checks and write reports for designated programmes.
  • Undertake paired observations and file checks as part of the company validation processes.
  • Lead Operational teams to ensure identified quality improvements are being acted on and measure the impact of this.
  • Lead Operational teams to analyse Management Information to identify trends in delivery.
  • Deliver training and coaching to Operational teams to support the understanding of quality requirements.
  • Facilitate gathering and analysing stakeholder feedback.
  • Work with the Head of Continuous Improvement to proactively prepare for inspections, collate and update templates and information to support inspection and audit preparation.
  • Chairing monthly Quality Meetings with Operations.
  • Provide support for the Head of Continuous Improvement in ensuring Continuous Improvement is fully embedded in the business.

Essential

  • Experience delivering high quality written materials using MS Word, briefings, reports, minutes that are clear, accurate and concise.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, data manipulation, pivot tables and data presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure with short timescales.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent decision making skills.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Experience of delivering group and/or one to one training and/or IAG.
