Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a business based in Birmingham City Centre. This business is going through a sustained growth period and is developing a brilliant work culture. This role would be suited to someone who has a one- or two-years' experience within a transactional finance role and is keen to develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolving customer and supplier queries.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Processing the Cashbook entries
- Cash allocation.
- Prepare payment runs.
- Statement reconciliations
- Supporting the Finance Manager with month end processes.
- Other as hoc tasks as required.
This is an opportunity for an outgoing Accounts Assistant to join a great team, the ideal candidate will have good excel skills and have a good understanding of both purchase ledger, sales ledger and have the capability to do bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Study support is on offer along with hybrid working.
