Facilities Manager

Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a national service provider who are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager to cover their Kent/Medway acconmodation centre.

This is a permanent role with a starting salary of up to £43k with an ASAP start

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the delivery of soft and hard Facilities Management in their designated cluster of properties and through their team, provides a well maintained, safe, secure, clean, compliant and efficient environment underpinned by great customer service. They will support the development and execution of the national FM strategy and standards ensuring they are delivered consistently locally. The role holder is also accountable for health, safety and security for their designated buildings.

Our client is looking for someone who can manage and inspire their operative team whilst also willing to get involved in the day-to-day maintenance of the buildings.

The successful Facilities Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working in an FM role previously
  • Experience of working for a large service provider
  • Good working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Good knowledge of property related health and safety issues preferably within a management system
  • Experience of managing fire safety within the property environment
  • Experience of project management of small to medium projects
