A proactive and detail-oriented Senior Business Development Coordinator is sought to join the Business Development team in a top 40 US Law firm. This role involves implementing marketing and business development initiatives for international offices and participating in firm-wide marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Work with Business Development Directors, Managers, and other teams to support various marketing initiatives.
- Content Development: Assist and lead the development of content for client pitches, proposals, and formal RFPs.
- Research: Conduct research on prospective targets, industries, markets, and competition.
- Content Management: Update and maintain practice area content and facilitate the distribution of daily alerts.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate external event sponsorships and firm-produced client-facing events.
- Communication: Draft correspondence and manage e-communications directed to external and internal audiences.
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience: At least three years' experience in business or marketing in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Analytical Skills: Superior analytical and research skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proofreading ability.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in CRM/contact databases, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research databases.
- Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, professional, self-directed, and capable of managing projects under tight deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys and professionals in all administrative departments.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidential information.
