My client is a professional services organisation with a strong social purpose currently going through a large transformation to reshape their learning operating model, moving towards a more centrally influenced learning network. My client has a clear business strategy that recognises the changing needs of their customers which requires their employees to have the right set of capabilities to succeed. This is an exciting transformation that will see learning and employee development at the forefront of this strategy. As a result, we are looking to recruit three experienced Performance & Leadership Consultants on a permanent basis.

About the opportunity

Reporting in to the Performance & Leadership Manager and working alongside a talented Organisational Effectiveness team, This role will instrumental in designing, delivering and evaluating our leadership and performance development initiatives. The successful candidate will be focused on increasing current and future leadership capabilities at all levels in across the business. You will enable high levels of performance by providing development, coaching and support. You will develop and deploy blended learning tools and interventions, focusing on the outcomes we need these to deliver. Your role will be varied each day; you could be consulting with colleagues to understand challenges and opportunities for which learning could be a solution; you could be facilitating an 'Immersion' on a leadership topic; you could be coaching leaders on a 1:1 basis or as a group; you could be analysing trends in data and drawing insights to inform decisions; you could be designing and developing a new learning collection for leaders to subscribe to. The successful candidate will be experienced in modern leadership development programs & continually reaching for better by keeping up to date with what is going on in the world of leadership and performance. The successful candidate will have experience in operating at all levels of leadership development and will be a 'doer' who is confident in the full design through to the delivery stage.

The ideal candidate

My client is making a huge investment in developing the capabilities of their leaders and the performance of all employees and is therefore looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference whilst demonstrating excellent stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of developing leaders, having been accountable for all stages of the development previously, including designing, delivering, and evaluation of models tools.
  • Strong consultative approach and experience of enabling change.
  • Proven success at diagnosing root causes of problems, using a variety of data points to identify and design solutions to address.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, and you will use an effective balance of coaching support and challenge to achieve results.
  • Proven experience in talent development, leadership; coaching and learning and development.
  • Experience of working with people at all levels (individual contributor through to c-suite), with proven ability to adapt your style accordingly.
  • Experience of working within a blended learning framework and cohort-based learning programmes.
  • Application of contemporary learning approaches; experiential, digital and immersive
  • Extensive experience of integrating behavioural tools (psychometrics, 360 feedback, team dynamics etc.) within learning and coaching.
  • Confidence using technology and communication channels (e.g., MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Teams, Whiteboard)
  • Strong and engaging communication skills to collaborate with, inspire, and challenge learners to grow their capability.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) and keeping pace with latest thinking.
  • To work well independently and as part of a team.

Have excellent stakeholder engagement and partnering skills both across the organisation and with external providers

You will also benefit from having:

  • CIPD or Coaching level 5 and above or willing to work towards.
  • Experience of psychometrics and/or qualified in some assessment tools.
  • ILM or CMI Leadership & Management Qualification.
  • Worked with digital curated learning platforms and Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience of coaching within a change environment.
