A dynamic manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join their team. This role involves a mix of existing client development, account management, and new client acquisition. The company is growing and has recently made new acquisitions, prompting the need to fill this role as a result of that growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Inspect plant and machinery, measure accurately, and produce detailed quotes.
- Meet with customers to understand their needs and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bulk loose materials processing (e.g., cement works, recycling facility) or with companies involved in the manufacture of conveyors or similar equipment.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential, or operational experience in a processing plant is valued.
- Demonstrated strong communication and exceptional customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
