We have a fantastic Locum Social Work opportunity based within a Community Mental Health Team in the Tameside, Greater Manchester area. The post will be supporting the councils obligation to the Care Act, completing assessments, funding applications, copdols, 21a challenges and other statutory responsibilities.
2 x part time roles available - 1 x 30 hours & 1 x 21 hours post

Responsibilities:
- Working with Adults and Children turning 18 transitioning from children services.
- You will contribute to the delivery of mental health services and provide a casework service in collaboration with service users and CMHT colleagues.
- You will practice in accordance with CPA and recovery model of care, managing a caseload including assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating care, negotiating for and coordinating the application of resources and seeking modification of attitudes or behaviour when required.
To be considered for the Social Worker role:
- 1-3 years experience of working within a similar mental health/adult social work setting
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Evidence of working with a complex caseload
