We're excited to partner with a renowned engineering company, situated on the outskirts of Norwich, in their quest for talented Wiring Technicians to bolster their team. With our client experiencing continuous growth, this is your chance to become an integral part of their expanding operations.
As a Wire Technician, you'll be at the heart of crafting intricate products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Wiring Team Leader, your keen eye for detail and excellent soldering skills will be paramount in this role.
Your main responsibilities will include wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and sub-assemblies, as well as the precise installation and connection of wiring harnesses into assembled units. Following work instructions meticulously and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications will be second nature to you.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and circuit diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in soldering, crimping, lacing, and splicing.
- Familiarity with cable production techniques.
- PCB Assembly experience is highly desirable.
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline is also desirable.
The role offers a Monday - Thursday work schedule from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, with Fridays ending at 12:45 pm.
