Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons to students aged 11-18.
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters respect and ambition.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching practices and share resources.
  • Participate in the school's professional development programmes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
