We're partnered with a London University to recruit a Credit Controller. The post holder will join a busy and successful team and will focus on the collection of corporate and commercial debt.
Job duties:
- Responsibility for collections on the Universities commercial ledger – invoice values range from £100 - £2m
- Telephone collections
- Raising and issuing of invoices /credit notes via the finance system
- Maintenance and issuing of debtor emails
- Resolving queries via communication with internal and external customers
- Updating account notes
- Ledger administration i.e. raising misc adjustments, allocation and reconciliation
Candidate profile:
- Experience in credit control chasing commercial debt
- Experience working in a large-complex organisation
- Experience using Business World (Agresso)
- Ability to demonstrate that you are highly organised and have excellent communication skills
- Excel reporting experience (e.g. Excel Pivots, VLookups)
Job information:
- Hourly rate: £19 - £21
- Contract Length: until the end of October 2024
- Location: East London (1 day per week on site)
