We are excited to offer the opportunity for a dedicated Multi Skills Lecturer to join our team in North West London. This permanent role involves teaching a variety of programmes, primarily focused on construction and multi-skills up to Level 2. This position is ideal for someone passionate about facilitating learning and development in young students aged 16-19.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in construction and multi-skills programmes up to Level 2.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are engaged and understanding the material.
- Prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and development of the students and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching resources and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified to Level 3 in a relevant subject area, preferably within the construction trades.
- Proven teaching or training experience, with the capability to instruct up to Level 2 Construction/Multi Skills programmes.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to motivate and engage students.
- Experience across a range of construction craft trades.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in teaching.
