Our client are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join their site in Pencoed. The successful candidate will utilise the latest technologies to develop automated manufacturing and test facilities, contributing to an award-winning manufacturing facility. This role is offering a salary of up to 38,000.
**Day to Day of the role:
- Develop bespoke Automation solutions.
- Research the latest technologies and ideas for production environment application.
- Liaise with internal and external companies to manufacture designs.
- Build, test, and debug equipment designs and control circuits.
- Adhere to company procedures and produce necessary documentation to ensure compliance.
- Produce documentation in accordance with required safety standards.
- Work within a cross-discipline engineering team, communicate best practices, ideas, and project updates.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic circuits.
- Experience of Project Management/Schedule Setting.
- Excellent understanding of Manufacturing Equipment Safety Requirements.
**Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge in Robotics.
- Knowledge of PLC Programming.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD Design, preferably SolidWorks/AutoCAD Inventor.
- Knowledge of PUWER/COSHH regulations.
