Our client is a leading document storage company based in the Sout East of the UK, committed to offering secure and efficient solutions for businesses to manage their physical documents. As they expand their services, they are introducing professional scanning solutions to complement their storage offerings.

we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with a background in the scanning industry to help us introduce and sell this service to new and existing clients.

Job Description:

As a sales exec you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the new scanning division. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals with businesses in need of scanning and digitization solutions. Your industry expertise in document scanning will help you tailor solutions to meet client needs, positioning the company as the go-to provider for comprehensive document management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within target industries such as legal, healthcare, finance, and government that require document scanning solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Consult with clients to understand their document scanning needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling the scanning services.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project implementation after sales.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and technology in document scanning and digitization.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team to help refine promotional strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in selling scanning or document management services.
  • Strong understanding of the document scanning process, technologies, and client needs.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Understanding of relevant compliance and data protection regulations (GDPR, ISO, etc.) in the document management industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to sectors with high document management needs, such as law firms, hospitals, financial institutions, or government agencies.
