Tradewind is looking for an experienced Pastoral Lead for our client school in Salford!

Job Title: Pastoral Lead

Location: Salford

Contract Type: Full-Time, Beginning in September 2024 and you will be required to complete the academic year.

Salary: £100 - £115 per day, subject to experience

The position is for a 'Good', 1-form entry Primary school.

This role is pivotal in supporting students with challenging behaviour and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to succeed.

This is a Non-Teaching role where you will be provide behaviour support for students with SEMH and SEND, including planning and implementing education plans, resolve incidents and liaise with staff, parents and outside professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:

  • Previous experience supporting students with SEND and SEMH
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included
