Property Block Manager

Salary: £34k - £40k + annual bonus + company benefit package.

Location: Chichester

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm (could potentially look at hybrid working 3 days office and 2 days remote)

You will already have experience of managing a portfolio of blocks, dealing with budgets, service charge accounts, attending AGM's and ideally be IRPM qualified.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily management of the estate and block management operation.
  • Issuing budgets and service charge accounts.
  • Organising and overseeing repairs and maintenance.
  • Site visits and attending AGM meetings.
  • Issuing LPE1's when required.
  • Building strong business relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Issuing section 2 notices.
  • Contract management, review and assess agreements as necessary.
  • Insurance, ensuring insurance cover is valid and appropriate for each block/property.
  • Seeking new business opportunities.
  • Debt collection.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven block and estate management background.
  • Ambitious and driven as this is a Senior role with a potential to move into Directorship.
  • Full UK driving licence and ideally own transport - (potential of company car after successful probation).
  • Highly organised with outstanding communication skills.
  • A natural problem solver that is solution driven.
  • A good understanding of statutory compliance and legislation effecting block management.
  • Thrive in a proactive, dynamic and fast paced environment.
