Join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant in the Bradford BD10 area, working within a specialist setting. This full-time position offers standard hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Located in the Bradford BD10 area, the school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student receives the support they need to succeed. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children and young people aged 11-19 with complex learning and behavioural needs, ensuring their engagement and progress in educational activities.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and support techniques, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support holistic development.
  • Assist in assessing students' progress and needs, contributing to reviews and adjustments to support plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with complex learning and behavioural needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN/SEND strategies and interventions to support academic and social development.
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to undergo Team Teach training.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Be eligible to work in the UK (NO Sponsorship)
