Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the team in Burton on a hybrid basis. This is an exciting opportunity working with an iconic brand with a fantastic portfolio. What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business. Your financial expertise will be utilised to analyse scenarios, forecast outcomes, and delve into details to identify trends that add significant value to our business. You will act as a trusted advisor to the wider finance function, contributing ideas for continuous improvement and positive change.

  • Develop and manage budgets, understanding key drivers, and confidently challenge stakeholders as needed.
  • Build and nurture relationships with management teams, providing comprehensive support for the on-trade business and essential analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Directors and their teams, focusing on value addition and prompt resolution of queries.
  • Examine cost lines deeply, identifying opportunities and understanding associated risks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the wider finance function, contributing ideas for continuous improvement and positive change.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role will be a qualified accountant with commercial experience. You should be a clear and considered communicator who can simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders. Your proven experience in managing commercial conversations and understanding sales functions will be invaluable in this role. Your ability to challenge assumptions, influence at all levels, and explain business case outcomes will set you apart.

  • Qualified accountant, either newly qualified or with a year's commercial experience.
  • Clear and considered communicator, skilled at simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in managing commercial conversations and understanding sales functions.
  • Adept at challenging assumptions and influencing at all levels, with a strong track record of explaining business case outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to add value to a business, whether through financial gains or process improvements.
  • Experience with SAP or general BI tools is desirable.
