We are seeking an experienced credit controller to join our team in a busy office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control but also be able to assist with purchase ledger, and invoicing. This role involves direct communication with customers, repair technicians, and the operations team, and is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Control and reduce debt by placing calls and sending emails to chase for payment.
- Establish and maintain regular communications with customers to facilitate timely payments.
- Create and send accurate daily invoices for works completed.
- Ensure timely resolution to invoicing queries.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications via email with Outlook and take calls from customers.
- Perform ad hoc duties as and when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control
- Professional and confident manner on the telephone and through email.
- Competent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of Xero would be an advantage.
- Must be a team player.
