Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with knowledge or experience in the lighting or events industry. This is a mostly office based position, however you will need to visit clients across the UK to demonstrate products.

This role is a mixture of new business and account management. The company has an excellent reputation and are well known in their market. They have built a solid reputation, over a number of years, because of their ability to provide a high level of service and a competitive price.

Main duties to include;

  • Book and attend meetings at Key Accounts, Lapsed Clients and Prospects
  • Establish customers requirements and demonstrate appropriate product ranges
  • Provide a consultative sales experience, closing and winning business without pressuring clients and impacting the relationship
  • Keep customers up to date with latest products, expanding the relationship and securing pipeline

We are looking for;

  • An experienced Sales Account Manager
  • A great communicator who can build relationships with a wide range of customers
  • Someone who prides themselves on their ability to sell and deliver a great customer experience
  • Experience in lighting, events or similar
