Strategic Finance Business Partner
My client is a Local Authority in South West Surrey who are looking to appoint a talented Strategic Finance Business Partner on a Contract basis.
About the role:
Based in South West London (Hybrid):
- Lead and coordinate the development of Capital Investment Programmes for Sutton.
- Identify and implement suitable financing options for capital investment and commercial programmes.
- Provide support, advice and challenge to significant Council commercial activities, including provision of financial modelling and viability testing, and delivering expert advice regarding commercial delivery vehicles .
About you: You will have the following experiences:
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CIMA, MBA etc) or demonstrable equivalent experience of operating at that level.
- Experience providing support and challenge to senior officers and leadership in a local authority.
- Strong technical understanding of the prudential framework and local authority capital programme financing and reporting requirements.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £475 - £600 per day, inside IR35.
