£40-45k + (10% Car Allowance or EV Company Car)

Sellick Partnership are currently supporting the recruitment of an Estimator on a permanent basis. The role will consist of providing quotes which reflect the fire and electrical work carried out by the fire and electrical engineers.

Key responsibilities of the Estimator (Fire and Electrical) will include:

  • Assesses Engineers visit information to transpose to a quotation of works required
  • Assist PM's, admin, other parties following acceptance for any quoted works as required for completion
  • Develop/improve quotation templates for all work types to drive sales / acceptance of quoted works
  • Monitor Quote Bank / Conversion rates and provide information to SMT as required
  • Analyse quoted works historical data for improvement purposes
  • Facilitate / answer queries by clients as required to convert / revise quoted works
  • Assist with any Tender Bids as required for the business
  • Develop and improve process for meeting turnaround targets by clients for receiving quotes for works
  • Be cognisant of contract requirements and works that we are able to quote for / carry out under self-authorisation limit.

Key skills and experience of the Estimator (Fire and Electrical):

  • Knowledge of electrical qualification 18th edition
  • Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839, BS8629, BS 5266
  • FIA FD&A Advance Designer or equivalent
