The Health & Safety Consultant Role
As a Health & Safety Consultant, you will:
- Develop and agree on a "scope of work" with clients, ensuring clear expectations and timelines.
- Produce risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, and policies.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and accident investigations, providing reports and aiding in legal defence preparation if required.
- Support in acquiring new health & safety business and retaining existing clients.
- Help clients integrate and operate the company's online Health & Safety Management System (xCenta).
- Create and deliver risk management strategies for your clients and support colleagues with theirs.
- Provide training, technical support, and represent both the company and clients when dealing with enforcing authorities or insurance companies.
- Undertake noise assessments, vibration assessments, and safe air testing (training provided).
- Be prepared for occasional travel and overnight stays.
The Health & Safety Consultant
- Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH National Diploma, or equivalent.
- Health & Safety experience in any of the following sectors: motor trade, haulage, or commercial warehouses.
- A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
