Assistant Accountant
Location: Hertfordshire | Full-time | Hybrid option after 6 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic team of accountants within a global group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts for small subsidiaries, including general ledgers (multiple currencies)
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis
- Compile VAT returns and management accounts
- Support operational teams across Europe and North America
- Gain exposure to tax analysis, reporting, and international VAT compliance
Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CGMA)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, formulas)
- Proven experience with ledger software and bank reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Fluent in written and spoken English
