The company:
Based in South Essex, you will be joining a renewable energy manufacturing company who specialise in natural resources. The company is continuously expanding and thus are looking for a qualified or /and experienced Laboratory Technician to join their lab team onsite near Stanford Le-Hope.
The role of the laboratory technician will be responsible for carrying out analysis and sampling for the production team.
Job responsibilities:
- Carry out and reporting on water samples, pilots, chemical components and more.
- Carry out quality checks
- Record any findings and work within the Laboratory's quality management systems
- Blending of chemicals, working on production tasks.
- Support continuous improvement methods.
This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Ideally, hold a degree in Chemistry or similar
- Experience working within a lab environment is preferred.
- Quality control mindset.
- Knowledge of chemical balancing processes would be advantageous.
- Willing to learn new processes.
