Description
As the Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner you will enjoy a broad, commercially focussed role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts for your business unit / cost centre
- Reporting results and figures to demonstrate performance v budget
- Analysing the accounts to identify trends and opportunities for additional income or more effective cost control.
- Properly account for stock and assets
- Preparing forecasts/budgets in liaison with operations Managers.
- Ensuring all compliance with company finance procedures and policies.
Overseeing the transactional financial performance of the contract e.g. invoicing, monitoring systems, and accounting.
- Being involved in all financial aspects / plans of the business unit and liaising with internal and external customers, and commercial viability reviews for new business / contracts.
Profile
A successful candidate for this Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner role will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong Finance systems skills and Excel ability.
Ideally you will have experience of working on a multi-site contract
- Excellent Business Partnering Skills
- Must be operationally astute, rather than simply a 'pure accountant'
- Ability to communicate, in writing and verbally, in a professional manner
- Financial problem solving and analysis skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to present to senior leadership and operational stakeholders.
Job Offer
- A base salary of up to £52,000 + car allowance

This role is based in Medway and will be ON SITE for 4 days per week.
