Warehouse Operative - £24,000 based in Chertsey
Our client is looking for an additional person to join their team to assist with the packing of products for shipment to customers. The position will require a flexible approach to the work involved and working to monthly output targets is common.
Key Accountabilities
- Packing of product for despatch – this to include pre-packing, and packing in outer cases suitable for sea, airfreight, domestic courier and courier.
- Packing of goods classified as hazardous for transportation
- Where required the maintenance and recording of daily stock transactions for incoming and outgoing materials on the companies production control system
- Use of the companies IT Systems to generate packing labels and any required documentation for shipments.
- Provide advice on packing requirements / arrangements to the sales and marketing team.
Experience Required
- Previous packing experience
- Organised and able to prioritise.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work
Mon - Fri 8am - 4.30pm.
