As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining procurement and supply chain procedures in the manufacturing sector. You will ensure effective management of resources, while maintaining an optimised supply chain network for our firm.

Description

  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials.
  • Monitor supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company standards and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts where necessary.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
  • Participate in the coordination of end-to-end supply chain processes in collaboration with diverse teams.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and other relevant IT systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
