Band: Band Dietitian
Base: South London
Start Date: ASAP, 3 months+
Hours: Part time- hours to be agreed
Clinical work: Community- Adult learning disabilities
- To provide input in to a specialist multidisciplinary dysphagia pathway and contribute to the provision of specialist dietetic advice to adults with learning disability who have dysphagia; and clients who have other complex dietary needs.
- To monitor and review a small caseload of clients on home enteral feeding. When required to liaise with the acute dietetic services to ensure smooth discharge planning.
- To liaise with the relevant enteral feeding company to ensure delivery of appropriate feed and enteral feeding equipment and to liaise with the feeding company specialist nurses.
