Accounts Receivable Specialist - £12 - £14 per hour - Godalming - 3-month contract
I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Godalming on a contract basis. This is a varied role working for a business who value their staff.
Key duties:
- Manage the process of incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data.
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
The Successful Applicant:
- A good understanding of basic Accounting and Financial principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with team members and clients
