Role : Content Marketing Lead (Head of)

Client : Digital Agency

Location : 1-2 days per week in the central London office.

Length : initial 6 month FTC - very likely to go permanent after this.

Days : Can be either part-time OR 5 days per week.

The Agency :

My client are a digital agency who provide user experience design & experimentation services for Ecommerce brands. The agency has recently undergone a brand transformation and is investing in content & events marketing to expand its client base.

They are a very well established agency, working with clients in a mix of industries; Travel, FinTech, SaaS, Ecom etc. But you will be the sole Marketer within the agency so the Marketing function very much has a start-up culture and mentality.

You will be doing everything from start to finish; ideation, strategy, creation, execution, reporting on results.

You will lead the process to design, build and execute the content strategy to reach the target audience by delivering best in class content that brings the agency's people & expertise to the fore.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead research & content ideation, engage with the wider teams, clients and prospects to understand needs, pull out data to create content stories.
  2. Produce & Manage Social content across the agency brand account.
  3. Support the sales team with sales content including client case studies and proof points.
  4. Produce long-form lead gen content; reports, guides, checklists etc. and sales copy to support lead generation campaigns.
  5. Lead events marketing & content creation to deliver prospects to any events.
  6. Report on content metrics & qualitative insights to continuously measure & improve the Content.

Profile:

  1. Natural storyteller with an instinct for creating content & copy that drives a response.
  2. Experience working with a start-up / very small team.
  3. 5+ years in a B2B Content role.
  4. Must have experience within a Marketing agency.
  5. Multi-channel experience.
  6. Experience within Events Marketing.
  7. A track record of designing and delivering high-performing B2B lead generation strategies.
