Job Title: Adhoc Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking an Adhoc Supply Teaching Assistant to provide support to our team in Sudbury on a flexible, temporary basis. As an Adhoc Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students
- Implement individual education plans for students
- Use a variety of strategies to engage and motivate students
- Assist in monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers and therapists
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with their emotional and mental health needs
- Attend regular training and development sessions
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a SEMH or PRU setting
- A good understanding of behavior management strategies and approaches to working with challenging behavior
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly on an adhoc basis
- Dedication to supporting high-quality education for students with SEMH needs
