We are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant on a permanent basis to support with a diverse range of critical transformation projects. This Project Accountant position offers hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 remote), 27 days holiday (that increases to 31 with time) and a generous 15% pension scheme. In this key role, you will business partner with key stakeholders, turning finance objectives into a reality, whilst paying a key part of the organisation transformation.
Reporting to the Group FC, you will be responsible for
- Budget Management – Track, monitor and report project spend
- Create and enhance project reporting to provide actionable insights
- Business partner with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on projects
- Support and take ownership of key projects including ERP implementation and system upgrades
- Develop and support the creation of business cases to justify project expenditure
- Implement and maintain accurate project spend
- Manage and oversee Assistant Project work
- Identify efficiencies / process improvement
What you will need?
- Strong ability to business partner with key stakeholders
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified
- Project accounting experience
- Worked in a similar position to Project Accountant / Senior Management Accountant / Finance Analyst / Commercial Accountant / Business Partner
