My client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class, working alongside a dynamic and friendly team. This is a part-time, term-time role perfect for those who want to help shape the early educational experiences of children in a forward-thinking and innovative school environment. This role is available on a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year, working Mon to Fri between the hours of 8:15-12:45.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting children's Early Learning in a Reception class.
  • Assisting with daily classroom tasks, including preparing resources and supporting children's learning and development.
  • Working closely with a teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Providing support during playtime as a Mid-Day Supervisory Assistant.
  • Encouraging children's social and emotional growth through creative and structured activities.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Hold a PASS in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Confident in supporting early childhood development and working within a Reception class setting.
  • Have a sense of humor and the ability to create a fun and engaging environment for young children.
  • Committed to working as part of a team that values creativity and risk-taking in education.
