This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Finance Assistant to join an established organisation based in Banbury on a temporary basis until March/April next year. The role is 4 days a week (30 hours) and start/finish times can be slightly flexible.

The client is widely acknowledged within their field, and are growing rapidly. They have a friendly team who are on-hand to support a new starter and also have on-site parking.

Description

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders
  • Entering Purchase Invoices and Credit Notes
  • Keeping an up to date running payment list
  • Recommending the weekly payment schedule for approval
  • Ensuring that the Purchase Ledger is kept in order
  • Monitoring and processing of the Finance Inbox
  • Shared responsibility of the Company Credit Card reconciliation and input
  • Credit Control Support
  • Sales Invoicing Support
  • Controlling and reporting on un-invoiced sales support

Profile

The Finance Assistant will be/have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate and experience of using Finance system/s
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience of Sage desirable but not essential
  • Organised
  • Immediately available
