FX Technical Onboarding Analyst

Team description

The FX Technical Onboarding team are responsible for ensuring that clients are migrated effectively onto LSEG FX sell-side APIs, including Cash RFQ, Algos and Options, as well as other workstreams. The team is technically focused but client facing as they are ensuring technical needs are met both internally and externally so that migrations are completed effectively and on time.

Role Description

The FX Technical Onboarding Analyst is responsible for all technical FIX onboarding requests across FXall sell-side clients. This will range from simple code-to-us migrations, to more sophisticated code-to-them onboarding requests for larger clients. The analyst will use their understanding of the internal technical systems, as well as their knowledge of LSEG FX FIX specifications to ensure that clients are onboarded to their exact requirements. The team is also responsible for working with internal teams such as Product, Dev and Sales/Relationship Management teams.

Key responsibilities:

Supports the running of core business processes on a day-to-day basis by proactively identifying issues, driving resolutions, and implementing process improvements.

Become a domain expert on internal specifications for each FIX API to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Use technical skills to automate manual processes via scripting.

Keep up to date with products and services to maintain quality of service during the launch of new products, projects and service changes and ensure the team achieve readiness for key events in the department calendar.

Work closely with Product and dev teams to ensure client requirements are understood and developed accurately.

Build specialist knowledge to analyse sophisticated data and determine and implement resolutions to operational risks in an accurate and timely manner, raising operational risks where expertise is required.

Analyse FIX messaging between LSEG and sell-side clients, looking at any messages/tags that do not align with specifications and working with dev teams internally and externally to solve these issues.

Working with Product teams internally to consistently improve FIX specifications across all APIs according to client feedback.

FIX knowledge with several years in FIX-based role

FX market knowledge

Good Technical knowledge/experience - Scripting/Python/Java valuable but not vital

Proven Customer Service Skills

Good communication and problem solving skills

People Management/Leadership skills

Worked in professional and customer focused environments with experience in customer facing roles

Helpful

Technical skills - SQL, Networking, Process Documentation, Electronic Trading systems and Market Data familiarity, CRM Tools (Jira/Salesforce), Excel

Recent experience in a similar technical customer service role supporting financial clients; including testing experience.
