Contract Supervisor

We are seeking a Contract Supervisor to provide on-site supervision at developments within the Wakefield district. This role involves overseeing contracts related to Section 38 and 278 Agreements and offering clear, comprehensive advice to developers and contractors on the construction of highways for adoption.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervise on-site activities and ensure compliance with Section 38 and 278 Agreements.
- Provide expert advice to developers and contractors regarding highway construction standards and adoption processes.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintain detailed reports of site activity.
- Ensure all construction practices adhere to CDM regulations and Health and Safety standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor Accreditation, IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
- Substantial experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction or highways sector.
- Proficient report writing skills to accurately document site activities and inspections.
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, Health and Safety practices, and NRSWA Code of Practice.
- Ability to work both on-site and in a hybrid working arrangement.
