Recruitment are supporting a leading Manufacturing business based in Tamworth in recruiting for a Production Planner to join the team on a permanent basis.
You will production plans, identify capacity and process problems and meet requirements of the customer for quality, quantity and delivery.
Salary: between £35,000-£40,000 p.a. + Pension + Holiday + Excellent Progression.
The Role:
- As the Production Planner you will product production plans.
- Identify production problems including breakdowns and replan accordingly.
- Manage supply chain shortages.
- Liaise with Engineering and Project Teams regarding requirements.
- Attend daily production meetings generating reports.
- Liase with customers to ensure build schedules are delivered on time.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Production Planner, you will have the following:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Production Planner with a Manufacturing background.
- Excellent Excel skills
- SAP experience desirable but not essential
