Our client, a high-growth and acquisitive group, with an exceptional reputation for talent development and reward, is looking to hire an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join its top calibre team. The role would be suited to either a talented Analyst with industry experience, or an ACA from practice looking to transfer their skills to an industry role.
This is a pivotal and visible position, supporting in all areas of the FP&A process including budgeting, forecasting, month end board, investor and lender reporting; giving the successful candidate a great breadth and exposure to the business. It's a hybrid role, with 3 days being office based.
Main duties include:
- Supporting the preparation of month end reporting templates, working closely across business units to identify and resolve data issues
- Supporting the preparation of budgeting and forecasting templates
- Developing and improving functional cost reporting
- Supporting the preparation of board presentation materials
- Undertaking financial analysis using strong excel and modelling skills
- Supporting the development of functional reporting
- Identifying and driving improvements
- Ad hoc projects as required
Key experience and skill set required:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong excel skills and financial modelling experience
- Committed team player with proven ability to hit deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- The ability to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with appropriate impact and influence.
