Company: Global Distributor of chemicals & ingredients used in everyday products.
Division: Performance Materials category covering Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Rubber, Plastics and Lubricants.
Your Skills: Dealing with high value customers/suppliers. Strong relationship builder (Internal and external). Numerate. Organised. Responsive communicator.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Coordinator to join our Performance Materials team. You will support the Product Managers in the tactical activities required for developing the product portfolio and for achieving the agreed growth targets.
The role will also provide the opportunity for you to join our Supplier and Product Management team and develop a career within this function and FI global business units.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supporting the Product Managers by keeping the product portfolio correct and up to date across all systems
+ Supporting the Product Managers to exceed all financial targets for the portfolio
+ Maintaining supplier pricing on SAP and sales pricing on Q
+ Working closely with other functions such as technical, EHS&Q, supply chain, sales and customer service in order to drive the business
+ Building relationships with suppliers
+ Working with Product Managers in order to support pricing and development strategy implementation
+ Coordinating and managing leads forwarded from suppliers
+Compiling market data for Product Managers and attending supplier meetings
We Are Looking For:
+ Previous experience of a commercial, fast-moving, business environment
+ Strong communication skills are essential including the ability to influence and build strong relationships both internally and externally
+ Self-disciplined, possessing the ability to work as part of a team and individually
+ Able to work under pressure and control a continually changing workload, prioritising appropriately and managing own time effectively
+ SAP experience is beneficial, but training will be provided
