What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Business Director, you will assist in managing a set of accounts and building and maintaining customer relationships. As you grow in the role, you will gradually take on more responsibility with the guidance of experienced team members.

  • Assist in developing business with new and existing clients, engaging in discussions with both purchasing and technical contacts.
  • Support in cultivating long-term customer relationships at all levels.
  • Contribute to delivering targets using strategic tactical initiatives.
  • Help in developing and managing new accounts using effective preparation, presentation, and negotiation techniques.
  • Aid in managing customer accounts covering products, services packages, contracts, prices, credit terms, and credit limits.
  • Assist in forecasting and tracking key account metrics and producing reports.
  • Take part in addressing HSE issues.
  • Work towards becoming a Product Champion of designated product ranges with mentorship.

Your background...

Must have:

  • Some experience or academic background in the Surface Coatings and/or Inks industries.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to learn to communicate, present, and influence at all levels.
  • Organisation and planning skills with the ability to plan and work to deadlines.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Creativity and imagination in problem-solving
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Nice to have:

  • Degree- Life Science related.
  • Some experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft packages, especially Excel and Word.
