TEMPORARY - Administrator

Reed Business Support are actively recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of our client based in Newton Aycliffe. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining management systems and controls, providing effective communication and support, and offering direct support to advisers and clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong client service skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely execution of client instructions, cheques, contract notes, and policy documents.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure adherence to company procedures and standards.
  • Handle client complaints and concerns promptly, referring them to the appropriate manager, adviser, or compliance officer.
  • Keep shared working areas and digital records up to date and organised.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and product providers.
  • Attend regular operations meetings to discuss ongoing work and address queries.
  • Provide personal support to advisers, including diary management and meeting preparation.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients in the adviser's absence and handle client queries.
  • Process changes of agency and Letters of Authority (LOAs) as instructed, using relevant software and workflows.
  • Maintain and update client information and documentation in the company's management system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong client service skills with a focus on professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
