Microbiologist

Reed scientific are working with a growing life science company based in the Haverhill area who have an immediate vacancy within their Microbiology team. They are looking for someone with a strong Microbiology background who is able to help drive the team forward whilst working on multiple projects.
Duties of the role include:
- Preparing high quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Analysing samples whilst adhering to controlled methods and procedures
- Developing in-house protocols in line with ISO standards
- Troubleshooting where required
Essential skills & experience:
- A Life Science related PhD, with a focus on Microbiology
- Good aseptic techniques (essential) and cell culture (desirable)
- Experience working in level 2 containment laboratory
- Knowledge of ISO standards
