We are looking for a stock condition surveyor on an on-going contract to support a local authority in carrying out surveys on their existing stock
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be covering a patch of properties in Hampshire, carrying out stock condition surveys to; general needs housing, temporary accommodation, sheltered units and extra-care units. As well as leased and non-operational assets
- Utilising tablets to assist in carrying out stock condition surveys to the housing stock. You will be detailing the remaining lifespan of key components such as kitchens and bathrooms
- Where possible, to support in producing EPCs across housing stock
- You will also be assessing the properties' exteriors, identifying defects and writing up reports on required works
- Review the lifecycle and renewing of windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and general cyclical decorations
- undertake risk assessments in accordance with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and action any findings as appropriate.
- Upload surveys onto asset management system each week and work closely with the team to address any urgent requirements
Job Requirements
- A full UK Driving Licence
- HND/HNC in surveying or previous experience in a similar role
