Senior Power Platform Developer

£500/day Inside IR35 | 4-Month Contract | Local Government | South East | Onsite Working TBC

Salt is supporting a progressive Local Government organisation in the South East of England, currently delivering a major digital transformation programme.

We're looking for a Senior Power Platform Developer to play a key role in developing and optimising services across public-facing platforms. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, user-focused services that benefit residents and businesses alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scalable, accessible software components using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
  • Lead on best practices around clean, open, and reusable code
  • Support delivery teams with AI and automation capabilities
  • Contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle, from design to release and continuous improvement
  • Uphold technical standards and guide less experienced developers

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Services, and Dataverse
  • Knowledge of ALM, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in JSON, JavaScript, Power Fx, HTML, and SQL
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600) highly desirable

Details:

  • Day Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35)
  • Contract Length: 4 months initially
  • Location: South East (onsite working to be discussed at interview)
