Accounts Payable Assistant
- 3-month fixed term contract
- Salary up to £24K
- Location: Sunderland (3 days a week required in the office, 2 days from home)
T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant for this leading national Company. The business will support hybrid working and are currently working 3 days week in the office, 2 days at home. This role is initially offered as a 3-month fixed term contract until the end of September.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader as Accounts Payable Assistant, you will have the following responsibilities:
- High volume purchase invoice and credit note processing
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Provide a reliable, accurate and timely service in response to all supplier and invoice enquiries
- Deliver outstanding levels of customer service for all operating companies and suppliers
- Proactively reduce the quantity of price and quantity variances, query and investigate any variances with purchasing, stores and suppliers.
- General administrative tasks
- Support wider team during month end process
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:
- Ideally some experience in an accounts payable/ purchase ledger role within a sizeable business however full training will be given
- Good IT/ data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Oracle experience preferred
- Work well as part of a team and on own initiative
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively from home
