Job Title: Data Editor
Location: Home Working with occasional travel to Horsham office
Start Date: 20th November 2024 for 15 weeks

Reed Crawley is thrilled to exclusively partner with a leading company in Horsham, renowned for its prominence in the UK's digital and software services sector.

Role Summary

As a Data Editor, you will work under the guidance of senior GIS staff to update and verify data layers using GIS Software. This role involves performing quality control on spatial data and raising issues when identified. It offers an excellent opportunity for growth in GIS and spatial data management, with hands-on experience in data editing and real-world GIS applications. Training will be provided, so no prior GIS knowledge is required, but an interest in GIS and Geography is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Enter and update data from various sources into designated databases, systems, or spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.

- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and make corrections or updates as necessary.

- Ensure all data is recorded following established quality standards, maintaining the accuracy and reliability of information.

- Regularly communicate progress, issues, and updates to supervisors, ensuring tasks stay on schedule.

Core Competencies

- Basic IT Experience (including Excel and wider MS packages).

- Ability to interpret and use different types of data.

- Quick Learner.

- Understanding of using Desktop Application Software.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Work collaboratively in a small team.

- Self-driven to achieve targets.

- Good communication skills.

Travel

Home Working with occasional travel to work in the Horsham office.

This role is subject to 5 years references , criminal checks etc.
